Skills south east leadership and management grant – Accessing funding for your course place

Tel: 0845 026 4298
Please let us know if you would like us to book you a group session 8.30 – 9.30am before one of your courses begins as a fast track way to apply for this funding – provided there is sufficient interest we will arrange this for you.
This funding can be used for any format of training or development on the subject of people management or business planning, including WTP’s courses and qualifications or in-house bespoke training. It is matched pound for pound up to £1,000, so if you pay £1,000 the grant will pay £1,000 (excludes VAT). Available until March 2012.
To be eligible you should be a businesses, social enterprise or voluntary sector organisation with some form of company status; and have 2 to 250 full time equivalent employees. The applicant must be the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer or equivalent if less than 10 employees; if 10-249 the applicant may be a leader reporting directly to the MD/CEO (subject to approval). You can only make one application for your organisation, and you cannot make a second claim, so it’s better to consider all your potential training needs and claim for them all at once – though they do all need to at least start within 90 days of getting the grant.
To apply you need to complete an application form, receive a telephone call to confirm your eligibility, then undertake a skills and training needs analysis. You can either do this direct with Skills South East which involves 2 appointments one by phone and one in person. Or register your interest for us to book a group appointment. Ask us to send you our full guidance.
