With Cath Barry from Worthing Volunteer Centre
Measuring the impact of your volunteers
Demonstrating to a range of stakeholders the impact of your volunteering programme can be crucial in terms of getting buy-in. The workshop will cover:

One in four of us have mental ill health at some point in our lives. Being aware of mental health so that people are able to continue to volunteer is a fundamental equality issue; and should be a positive experience for both individual and organisation. The workshop will cover:
With Aine Walsh from Grassroots training
Engaging ex-offenders in volunteering
There are a lot of myths around when you should or shouldn’t involve ex-offenders as volunteers. The workshop will cover:
With Andrew Breary
Handling difficult volunteer situations
There are many reasons why involving volunteers can lead to difficult situations. This workshop will explore how best to deal with situations that in spite of the systems you have in place, continue to cause conflict. The workshop will cover:
With Angie Konrad
Working with Young Volunteers
With increasing numbers of young people looking to volunteering to develop their skills and get experience, it is important that organisations are able offer young people a positive experience of the workplace and that organisations are able to make the most of the resources that are on offer to them. The workshop will cover:
With Outset and WSCVYS
You will also have the opportunity to reflect on the volunteering environment more generally and join in a lively debate.
