For people who are new to voluntary and community sector finances and/or who want to keep their books using this new – computer based – simple accounts system.
This half-day session will help you to:
Set up your bookkeeping records using this simple accounting system
Identify which budget headings to use
Log incomings and outgoings
Deal with petty cash
Reconcile your bank statements
Create simple reports.
Please bring a calculator – no previous experience is required.
NB. Please note that this system is not suitable for groups who need to keep track of individual grants or projects. There is another system covering this – please contact the Resource Centre for more information (01273 606160 or info@resourcecentre.org.uk).
Assistance with travel and carer expenses is available for volunteers – please mention this when booking if required. We will do our very best to meet any specific requirements that you have – please call us in advance to discuss any specific needs.
