About WTP
How we got here
The Working Together Project (WTP) started 12 years ago as a small collaborative endeavour delivering training to not-for-profits in Brighton and Hove. Word got round about the quality and acceassibility of the training, and we have grown to be the leading provider of training and learning to the third sector in Sussex.
Since becoming a charity in 2001 we have trained people from nearly 1000 organisations and worked with 650 organisations in the last year. Our third sector participants book with us regularly and we work in partnership with key infrastructure groups to provide a comprehensive and integrated support service.
What we can do for you
Our courses will help you with the ongoing organisational development and management of your organisation, as well as supporting staff, volunteers, community activists and management committee members to increase their skills and confidence to deliver even more effective activities and services.
Our training
Our half-, one-, and two-day courses are practical, relevant, professional, friendly, fun, and cover a wide range of subject areas; and our longer courses and mentoring programmes provide ongoing support to deliver what you’ve learnt. Our in-house bespoke training and facilitation supports teams to learn and plan together.
Our trainers
Our trainers are hand picked to deliver the best of their knowledge to your organisation, whatever the subject they are friendly, approachable and professional – just like our courses!
“The trainer was very skilled at delivering material that was complex… and certainly succeeded in putting the whole group at ease. I found the whole day very useful and thought provoking too! Thank you sincerely for a great training event.”
Tell us what you’re after
We are always developing new courses relevant to your needs in running successful groups and organisations, please ring to talk through your ongoing training and skills needs. We have a dedicated Development Worker who can come and visit you to help you to work out what training and support you need.
